Siro vs Rilla 30-day pilot scorecard
Set what matters, run the same jobs through both pilots, then score observed performance. GhostRep does not pre-score either vendor, and the result stays blank until every weighted criterion has evidence for both.
Field capture reliability
Eligible conversations captured cleanly in your real devices, territories, and connectivity conditions.
Manager review workflow
Managers can find the right moments, understand the evidence, and complete coaching without creating a queue.
Live conversation support
The live workflow works for the person receiving help, with acceptable latency, control, and field usability.
Roleplay and rep readiness
Reps practice your actual objections and receive feedback that managers consider useful before live appointments.
CRM and data flow
Customer context, recordings, outcomes, and coaching actions move to the systems your team actually uses.
Consent, security, and control
Legal and security reviewers can verify consent, access, retention, deletion, subprocessors, and required controls.
Commercial and adoption fit
The order form, implementation work, active usage, and manager time produce acceptable fully loaded economics.

Siro weighted score
Rilla weighted score
Result withheld: 7 weighted criteria need evidence for both vendors.
Formula: sum of priority × observed score, divided by total active priority. A zero priority removes a criterion. Scores are not saved or sent to GhostRep.
Short answer: Siro and Rilla both support field-conversation capture, post-conversation coaching, live workflows, and AI roleplay. Siro publicly emphasizes rep-facing Halftime AI guidance and offline recording. Rilla publicly emphasizes Virtual Ridealongs, Rilla Intelligence, and manager-led live coaching through Rilla Live. Neither publishes standard dollar pricing.
No universal winner: Score the same reps, devices, job types, integrations, and manager workflow in both pilots. The calculator above intentionally contains no GhostRep-assigned vendor scores.
This Siro vs Rilla comparison was reviewed against publicly available first-party product, documentation, legal, privacy, and research pages on August 15, 2026. Product packaging can change after publication, and a feature that is not publicly documented is not necessarily absent.
Disclosure: GhostRep competes for some of the same sales-coaching budget. We have not represented this article as a private, logged-in head-to-head product test. Public vendor claims are labeled as such, missing public evidence is marked “ask the vendor,” and the decision model requires the buyer to enter observed pilot evidence.
Next Step
Keep the pilot tied to one buying job
Score Siro and Rilla on the same field cohort. If SalesAsk or GhostRep remains in scope, move to the broader four-platform decision instead of stretching a pairwise scorecard.
Siro vs Rilla: Which Should You Pilot First?
| Your primary buying job | Pilot first | What must be proven |
|---|---|---|
| Rep-facing AI help during the conversation plus offline field capture | Siro | Halftime usability, guidance quality, offline sync, consent flow, device reliability, and rep adoption |
| Virtual ride-along review, cross-team conversation analysis, and manager-led live coaching | Rilla | Review-queue efficiency, score usefulness, Rilla Intelligence outputs, Rilla Live workflow, and eligible-call capture |
| Reliable field adoption across several branches and mixed connectivity | Run the same controlled pilot in both | Eligible conversations captured, active rep days, manager minutes, sync failures, and support resolution |
| A procurement decision based mainly on public price | Neither can be compared yet | Comparable written order forms covering licenses, usage, implementation, integrations, renewal, overages, and cancellation |
These are pilot-order recommendations, not product rankings. A company that needs both rep-facing AI guidance and manager live listening may reasonably test both live workflows. The experience, operating requirements, packaging, and person receiving the coaching are different enough that a feature checkmark cannot settle the decision.

| Roleplay | Siro markets hands-free practice using real-conversation examples, plus Debrief follow-up and roleplay | Rilla markets “Roleplay with Rick” for sales situations and objections | Scenario creation, assignments, scoring method, reporting, limits, and manager administration |
| Integrations | Current documentation names multiple CRMs and field-sales systems and describes a bidirectional REST integration | Current public materials substantiate CRM-context ingestion and ServiceTitan; a complete current connector catalog was not text-disclosed in the pages reviewed | Exact objects, sync direction, ownership, failure handling, implementation work, and plan availability |
| Security evidence | Current Siro pages state SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA requirements with BAAs, GDPR compliance, and no training on customer conversations | Rilla publishes privacy and legal commitments; its public security page contained placeholder copy when reviewed | Trust-center evidence, DPA, subprocessors, retention, deletion, SSO/RBAC, incident terms, data residency, RTO/RPO, and certifications |
| Implementation | Siro says most mid-sized teams complete four onboarding sessions over roughly two weeks | Rilla's current FAQ says setup takes one hour and 45 minutes | Whether the claim means technical setup or full rep-and-manager adoption, plus data and integration work |

Siro vs Rilla Pricing and Contract Visibility
Neither vendor published standard dollar pricing in the public pages reviewed. Siro routes buyers to a demo and says AI sales-coaching estimates require a conversation with sales. Rilla routes buyers to a demo, while its July 2026 terms say fees are set in an Order Form and may include license, usage, and overage charges.
Do not compare an informal per-seat number from one sales call with an all-in annual proposal from the other. Request both proposals using the same assumptions:
- Licensed reps, managers, branches, and seasonal seats.
- Expected recorded conversations, storage, transcription, and AI usage.
- Live coaching, roleplay, analytics, and integration package availability.
- Implementation, hardware, data migration, custom scorecards, and support.
- Initial term, renewal increase, auto-renewal notice, overages, and license reductions.
- Exit assistance, data export, recording deletion, and integration shutdown.
Rilla's public terms include default provisions such as advance payment, a 3% renewal increase, a 30-day non-renewal notice, and restrictions on reducing added license quantities. An Order Form may override those defaults. Treat the signed proposal and Order Form—not this summary—as the commercial source of truth.
Recording and Field Reliability
Siro Recording
Siro documents user-initiated recording from its mobile or web experience. Its recording page says mobile users can record offline and sync to the cloud later, incoming phone calls pause recording, consent flows can be configured, and declined consent results in nothing being saved. Visibility can also be permission-based.
That supports the statement “Siro publicly documents offline field capture.” It does not prove the capture rate your specific fleet will achieve. Test older and current phones, long appointments, background behavior, battery use, low-storage devices, weak connectivity, interruptions, and the exact consent flow your counsel approves.
Rilla Recording
Rilla's product pages center on reps recording in-person conversations with the Rilla app. Some vertical pages also describe phone or in-person conversations recorded through a dialer or the app. Rilla's July 2026 terms state that recordings are initiated by the customer or its personnel and put consent responsibility on the customer.
Rilla's public pages reviewed did not document offline capture, the complete supported-dialer list, default audio retention, or a capture-reliability SLA. That is an evidence gap to close during procurement, not proof that the capability or control does not exist.
Coaching: The Most Important Workflow Difference
The old shortcut—“both products record calls and managers review them later”—is no longer useful.
Siro Halftime is publicly described as AI guidance delivered to the rep while the customer conversation is still happening. Siro announced broad availability in February 2026 after a beta with 50 teams. Its post-call system also includes scorecards, trends, comments, playlists, summaries, and roleplay.
Rilla Live is publicly described as a manager listening to and coaching an in-person rep in real time while the rep records through the app. Rilla's post-call Virtual Ridealongs and Intelligence products focus on searchable conversation evidence, scores, summaries, coaching moments, and cross-team questions.
The practical comparison is not “live versus no live.” It is rep-facing AI assistance versus manager-led live coaching, plus the post-call workflow around each. Ask both vendors to demonstrate the complete workflow with the same objection and the same field constraints.
What the Public Evidence Does Not Prove
Both vendors describe how their products work at a high level. Neither published enough detail in the reviewed pages to independently validate product-score accuracy.
| Evidence question | Siro public status | Rilla public status |
|---|---|---|
| Full scoring formula and weights | Not publicly disclosed | Not publicly disclosed |
| Independent precision, recall, or score-validation report | Not found in reviewed pages | Not found in reviewed pages |
| Transcription word-error rate by field condition | Not publicly disclosed | Not publicly disclosed |
| Human quality-assurance and calibration procedure | Not publicly disclosed | Not publicly disclosed |
| Raw customer outcome data for vendor case studies | Not public | Not public |
Siro says customers define what “good” means and configure scorecards around their process. Rilla says its AI is tailored to the company's process, market, and top performers. Those are sensible product approaches, but they do not replace a calibration test. Give each vendor ten calls that two qualified managers have already scored, then compare the AI output with the human rubric and adjudicate disagreements.
Vendor-authored research can still be useful when the sample and definitions are visible. Rilla Labs, for example, disclosed a random sample of 16,268 conversations in one 2025 study. That is stronger than an unexplained marketing percentage, but it is still vendor-authored research rather than independent product validation.
Security, Privacy, and Procurement
Siro's current pages state SOC 2 Type II certification, that it meets HIPAA requirements and can execute BAAs, and that it does not train AI models on customer conversations. Its published security materials also discuss encryption, roles, backups, redaction, export, and deletion. Request current trust-center documents and make sure the scope covers the product and services in your proposal.
Rilla's current privacy policy describes general safeguards, purpose-based retention, and third-party AI processing for summaries and insights. Its terms state that the customer owns Customer Data while licensing Rilla to use it to provide, maintain, and improve the services. When reviewed, Rilla's public security page displayed placeholder text rather than verifiable certification or control details.
That does not mean Rilla lacks security controls. It means a buyer should mark certifications, encryption specifics, SSO/RBAC, testing, residency, incident terms, retention, deletion, and subprocessors as “ask vendor” until the vendor provides evidence.
How to Run a Fair 30-Day Siro vs Rilla Pilot
- Define one buying job. Choose capture reliability, manager visibility, rep-facing live help, manager live coaching, or a documented combination.
- Use the same cohort. Include comparable reps, job types, branches, devices, and connectivity. Separate new reps from experienced closers.
- Lock the denominator. Count every eligible conversation before the pilot begins, then measure how many usable conversations each product captures.
- Configure the same rubric. Use the same stages, objections, compliance requirements, and manager-approved examples.
- Measure operating effort. Track rep active days, manager review minutes, coaching actions completed, support tickets, and integration repair time.
- Measure outcomes cautiously. Track stage progression, follow-up completion, close rate, margin, and ramp milestones without treating a short pilot as causal proof.
- Score only observed evidence. Enter 0–5 for both vendors in every active criterion above. Leave a row unscored when evidence is missing.
Questions to Ask Both Vendors
- What event starts and stops recording, and what happens when the rep forgets?
- What percentage of eligible conversations do customers typically capture, and how is that denominator defined?
- Show a low-connectivity, interrupted, and declined-consent workflow.
- Who receives live coaching, how is it delivered, and what plan, device, or connectivity requirements apply?
- How are scorecards weighted, calibrated, audited, corrected, and versioned?
- Which integrations are current for our exact CRM, and which objects move in each direction?
- What data is used to train or improve models, and what opt-out or contractual restriction exists?
- What implementation work is included, and what does “setup complete” actually mean?
- What happens to price, seats, usage, data, and access at renewal or termination?
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Siro better than Rilla?
Not universally. Pilot Siro first when rep-facing Halftime AI guidance and publicly documented offline recording closely match the requirement. Pilot Rilla first when Virtual Ridealong review, Rilla Intelligence, and manager-led live coaching are the priority. Use the same field cohort and score observed evidence.
Does Rilla have live coaching?
Yes. Rilla publicly markets Rilla Live as a way for managers to listen to and coach in-person reps in real time. Verify delivery, latency, packaging, device requirements, consent, and field usability directly with Rilla.
Does Siro have live coaching?
Yes. Siro publicly markets Halftime as live AI coaching delivered while the rep is still with the customer. Verify plan availability, field behavior, latency, controls, and integrations directly with Siro.
How much do Siro and Rilla cost?
Neither vendor published standard dollar plans in the public materials reviewed. Siro uses custom quotes, and Rilla's terms describe Order Form pricing that may include license, usage, and overage fees. Request comparable written proposals.
Which platform records offline?
Siro publicly documents offline mobile recording with later cloud sync. Rilla's public pages reviewed did not document offline capture. Confirm current capability and limits with both vendors because absent public documentation is not evidence that a feature is absent.
Is this comparison independent?
It is published by GhostRep, which competes for some of the same budget, so it should not be treated as independent analyst research. The comparison is designed to be neutral and auditable: it links to first-party sources, distinguishes public evidence from missing documentation, discloses the conflict, and requires buyers to enter their own pilot results.
